Job Description:Head - New Business Initiatives - Digital Agency (10-18 yrs) We are looking for a super hungry Business Development Director who can create leads, meetings, and pitches at scale and volume specifically for Paid Performance, Social, SEO, Media Planning, and Analytic elements of the business. You will have a deep understanding of the world of digital marketing and you are totally comfortable working alongside SEO, content, design and build and paid media specialists to devise a go to market strategy and deliver. Ideally, you will already be doing a similar role in an agency and looking for a bigger stage to play or, or you may be in a sales or business development role in a related sector. Either way, our client is looking for a Business Development professional with supreme drive and energy and a genuine passion for connecting with people and creating business opportunities and most importantly a great storyteller. Responsibilities: - Develop and implementing of agency go to market strategy (in conjunction with Head of Channels and New Business Director) targeting key sectors - Lead generation and meeting creation for the team including all telemarketing follow up - Management and lead all new business pitches - Development and maintenance of agency credentials and case studies in conjunction with wider new business team - Tracking all relevant tender opportunities and managing the RFI and RFP process in conjunction with the digital media team - Provision of weekly management information on lead generation and pitch performance - Plan, coordinate and supervise daily activity of a team of business developers and digital marketing strategists - Work closely with the finance and legal experts to review, close and implement ten agreements - Manage multi-crore budgets of clients and consulting them on digital media investments - Leading & amp amp supervising a team of Search, Social, Media Planning and Strategists for developing pitch proposals, RFPs, selecting vendors and executing projects - Understanding & amp amp communicating the real business problems of a client and going beyond the stated issues - Acting as the digital evangelist in the agency, coaching internal team members & amp amp clients Qualifications: - MBA degree in Marketing & amp amp Sales or Bachelors in Advertising, Business, Media. - 10+ years demonstrable cross-channel digital experience within an established agency in senior client services, business development or a leadership position with at least 6 years P& amp amp L accountability - Outstanding and proven telemarketing & amp amp networking expertise preferably in the digital media sector - experience within a business services arena is essential. - A background in technology and digital marketing - A commercial background with a track record of establishing and nurturing client revenues and profitability - An entrepreneurial mindset with great storytelling skills - A strategic mindset with an eye for detail - Excellent relationship building skills - Strong understanding of client brand guidelines - Experience upselling and networking throughout a client' s business. Client discovery is key in turning a new account into a partner - Excellent understanding of the client community and their needs and issues across a range of sectors - Proven expertise in managing multiple stakeholders both in the client environment and internally within the agency - Highly organized and totally comfortable working in a sales and target driven environment - Excellent written and verbal communications skills - Strong level of commerciality and strong negotiation and influencing skills - Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills. Experience of Photoshop and Indesign would be an advantage but not essential
