Job Description:The Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager or the Customer Engagement Lead. (The project team may consist of i.e. Architects, Technical Consultants, analysts, SAM specialists etc.) The Project Coordinator will assist in monitoring the scope, time, budget and quality expectations, planning, controlling and monitoring projects aligned to the SoftwareONE Delivery Methodology. Key accountabilities : - -Coordinate and manage pmONE activities -Taking minutes of meetings, scheduling calls, updating on project progress and status, follow-up actions status, assist Project lead with the updating of project documents -Contribute to the maturing and updating of pmONE documentation -Actively participating in functional and nonfunctional training as directed -Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards identifying work process improvements -Enhances department and organization reputation by performing assigned duties to the best of ability -Support Vertical teams/Internal Project Teams in the management of project functions -Develop and maintain Project management best practices -Support pmONE resources(PMs/Sr.PMs/Program Manager) Core Skills : - -Excellence in administration and back office support -Good communication skills -Excellent skills in task coordination -Desire to work in a consulting environment Core Modules : - -Fundamentals Service Delivery Methodology (FSDM -Fundamentals Portfolio Solution Overview (FPSO) -Fundamentals New Hire Training (FNHT) -Fundamentals Technology (FTECH) -Project Management 100 (PM 100) Modules Description : - -PM 100: pmONE Methodology (project tasks, task execution, timelines, issue and risks) -FTECH Technology basic skills regarding system platforms (Microsoft), client & amp amp server environment -FSDM: SD Methodology (Global Delivery Methodology introduction, Tools (Navision/Utilization tracker/PSA/SharePoint/GSO delivery process and procedures/GSDC) -FPSO: Understanding of all SWO services and value proposition, deliverables and outcome of the service. How services interrelate -FNHT: New hire training (Organizational Basics) Job Accountability : - -Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives -Make certain that clients needs are met as the project evolves -Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget Monitor and track projects progress and handle any issues that arise Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants -Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and money spend -Issue all appropriate legal paperwork Report and escalate to management as needed Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports Functional Skills (Abilities) : - -Highly motivated and results oriented -Where appropriate, attend meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members -Effectively and accurately monitor & amp amp communicate relevant project information to the client and project team -Assist PM lead in tracking & amp amp managing Risks, Issues, and Change Requests -Solid problem solving skills required -Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong business acumen Technical Skills (Learned Skills) : - -1-3 years work experience, as the Junior team member, relevant education or capabilities as structured,(The right candidate desires a career within Project Management and IT, and would like a long term employment with SoftwareONE) -No certification required but should complete Prince2 foundation/ PMP 35 PDU Training by 1st year -Candidates having 0-3 year of experience in coordination role -Candidates having attended PMP/Prince 2/Project Management Training and/or equivalent Project Coordination experience Additional role requirements : - 80% chargeability objective, (60% external projects and 40% internal projects) the remaining 20% is to be spent on training and personal development
