Badrinath temple is open on the special day of Akshya Tritiya of last week of April or first week of May every year and close after two days of Diwalion the day of Bhai Duj. Tapt kund is the other attraction of the place popular for its hot water spring, situated near the Badrinath Temple. It is believed that the water has medical Value so devotees take a dip in the hot water. Vyas Cave, Ganesh cave, Panch Dhara, Panch Shila, Bheem pul etc are the other popular attraction of the place. Joshimath is the winter home of Shri badrinath ji, Due to heavy snowfall the palki is transferred to Joshimath and worshiped the next six month in Joshimath.
